Here are the most common misconfigurations that occur when configuring Notifications in the Legacy Forms module.

  • Typo in the email address
    • As a best practice, after you've entered the email address in the notification field, copy the email address, go to your email program, compose a new email, and paste the email address into the To field. Send that email and verify that you do not receive a bounce message.

You may also want to test this from your personal email account (versus your company email). Some IT Departments put restrictions on who can send to specific email addresses. The PlayerLync Digital Forms module sends emails from a PlayerLync email server. Sending an email from your personal account will validate if the email address will accept emails from outside of your organization.
  • Multiple email addresses not separated by a comma
    • If you are entering in multiple email addresses, each email address must be separated by a comma. Separating the email addresses by any other character will cause errors and the form data will not send.
