Launch Preparation Checklist:


Tablet & App Procurement & Setup:


✓ Device/app distribution plan (fulfillment, cases/charging/mount solutions, etc.)

✓ Tablet/device policies determined (tablets, smartphones, etc.)

✓ MDM settings selected (if applicable)

✓ Prep, kit, and ship tablets (if applicable)

✓ App installation guideline doc, device & login info to managers/users (if applicable)


PlayerLync Admin Setup (prior to going live):


✓ Confirm 3 App section titles

✓ Orgs set up (via data import or manual entry), or leave “flat”

✓ Members/User set up (determine member/user logins and roles)

✓ Password and naming convention set up

✓ Devices set up

✓ Groups set up

✓ Member Default settings set up

✓ Blackout windows set up

✓ Policies and plans established for Messages, MyVideo, other functionality

    

Content Publishing:


✓ Content organized and published*

✓ PDF docs prepped for users (video stamps, etc.)

✓ Colors and pictures added to files and folders

✓ Intranet, Navbar, weblinks created and published

✓ Publish “how to use this app” info for end users


Forms and Team Manager:


✓ Form settings set up (SMTP, whitelisting, email addresses, etc.)

✓ Forms set up (including notifications, logic, etc.)

✓ Forms reporting set up

✓ Team Manager – Users, Locations, User Groups, Tracking set up

✓ Team Manager – Tests, Scoring, Queue set up

✓ Team Manager – Tracking for managers set up

✓ Initial user activity set up (optional – set up files, form, reporting)


Testing:


✓ Bandwidth and download testing (if applicable)

✓ Smoke testing – log in as multiple users, test files, videos, forms, links


Communication to Users:


✓ Communication plan for RVPs, RMs, Store managers, Training team

✓ Day 1/Week 1: conduct initial test with one or few units, store managers, etc.

✓ Initial user activity communicated


Launch - End User Usage:


✓ End users log in and access app

✓ End users complete initial activities (e.g., view docs and video, complete form)

✓ Managers or training managers provide training and guidance


Post-Launch Evaluation:


✓ Review Device syncing reports

✓ Review Activity reports

✓ Review form reports (if applicable)

✓ Contact locations or individuals who have not completed specified activities
