Classic Digital Form not auto filling the Employee Name and Location Fields
Troubleshooting Form Tracking Fields
- Confirm the Location and Employee Name fields are correctly assigned in the Form Settings > Name & Location tab. Note that the Location field can be a number field or a Single Line Text field depending on whether your locations have just numbers or alphanumerics (See Admin Portal > "Settings" tab > "Organization Settings" sub tab > Team ID (per location).
- Confirm the form is being properly accessed. You can access the form via the Forms tab, the training queue if it has been assigned to you, or a published Web Link (see below). Note that accessing the form through the Builder tab will not automatically fill in these fields.
- If users are reporting that a Web Link isn't autofilling these fields, make sure that they are signed in and accessing it from within the Content, Training Queue, or Forms tabs and not from a saved bookmark in their web browser.
- If only some users are reporting problems, then make sure that their location has a Team ID set in the Admin Portal > "Settings" tab > "Organization Settings" sub tab > Team ID.
