Content QR codes add the ability to associate externally created QR code URLs and strings to content published in PlayerLync. The content can then be searched for by the QR code.
Additionally, the native applications (iOS, Android, Windows) now support loading web pages for information not published in PlayerLync via scanning a QR code from the app.
When the QR codes are scanned from a native app the app searches for matching content and opens the matching content. If multiple content-items matches the QR code a list is returned for the Member. If no content-item is found and the QR value is a URL, the app opens the URL in a web view. |
